Cajun Shrimp boil for 10-12 people
Ingredients
1 bag of Shrimp (5lbs)
4-5 Yellow Onions
10-15 Red Potatoes
3 Packs of Corn (8 ears/pkg)
4 Packs of Hot Links and/or Smoked Sausage Rings
10 Whole Garlic Bulbs
Spices
1 jar Cayenne Pepper
1 jar Garlic Powder
1 jar Onion Powder
1 jar Seasoned Pepper (blue cap)
1 jar Mrs. Dash
Condiments
1-2 jars Cocktail Sauce (for shrimp)
2 Sticks Butter (for corn)
Bread
3-4 Loaves Garlic Bread
Directions
Prepare garlic, onions, potatoes and sausage. Cut tops off garlic (place in knee high hose if available). Quarter or half onions. Cut potatoes in half. Cut sausage in 2-3 inch pieces.
Add seasoning to water and bring to a boil.
Add potatoes, onions, garlic and stir. Bring water back to a boil.
Test potatoes and onions, when start to get soft add sausage and stir. Bring back to a boil.
Test garlic and potatoes, when garlic starts to get soft and potatoes softer, add corn and stir.
Cook 15-20 minutes checking potatoes and garlic. When potatoes & garlic are done to satisfaction, add shrimp and stir. Turn fire off and cover pot for 4-5 minutes. When shrimp is done, SERVE.
