Yes Linda we have found shards of pottery and arrowheads as well as animal(I hope!)bones fashioned into tools and very pretty beads. LSU anthropologists have studied this site very extensively. The ceremonial Indian mound is a very beautiful spot with large very old Live Oak trees hanging over the now muddy brown water of the lake filled with debris from the Mighty Mississippi River. Have a great evening Linda. Regards, Paul P.S. We are baby sitting our 10 month old Grandson tonight and my wife has just put him to sleep. He is such a joy and we love him to pieces!!!

Paul, ok here, although I;m on LI now. Glad you're on high ground and have 4' of extra insurance! How neat there's an indian mound. Do you find arrowheads and such around? Ya need one of those ground penetrating radar systems to see what's under there.

Really is awful, can't imagine what those people are going to do....
