Yes Linda we have found shards of pottery and arrowheads as well as animal(I hope!)bones fashioned into tools and very pretty beads. LSU anthropologists have studied this site very extensively. The ceremonial Indian mound is a very beautiful spot with large very old Live Oak trees hanging over the now muddy brown water of the lake filled with debris from the Mighty Mississippi River.
