Greece will make its small gestures to the EU, but until Greeks are ground deeply into the earth - and I don't see that happening too soon - things will not have bottomed and the crisis will go on.

Greece said to be readying new cuts

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Greece’s government on Monday was reportedly getting ready for new spending cuts and tax hikes to be unveiled this week, as public protests mounted in Athens.
The International Monetary Fund has warned in recent days that unless Greece’s European partners provide additional help, it would not lend money to Greece on its own.
