Of course, probably 71% of REPUBLICANS believe in redistributing wealth, also.
Taxing ME to fund their global empire or taxing ME to fund their medicare or taxing ME to fund their whatever is STILL redistribution.
I favor a system where anyone who votes FOR any bill which costs money (and they all cost money) or votes into office any "representative" who then votes FOR any bill costing money should assess the "for" taxpayer a minimum tax increase of TWICE .. but ideally more like ten times .. the per capita cost of the legislation. Those who vote FOR war, for medicare, for ANYTHING should pay through the teeth AND BE PROUD TO DO SO TO PROVE THEY AREN'T HYPOCRITES OR COMMUNISTS.
Sacrifice should start with sacrificing YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY. Obama -- as Bush before him -- should have sent his wife and children off the front line in Afghanistan as the price of admission.
Of course, there are the shoulds and the realities. In reality Communists of both parties want SOMEONE ELSE to do the heavy lifting and make the "sacrifices".
