Very!
You know when he was running & said he would NOT have voted for the war in Iraq I didn't believe him.
Too many of his votes were "present", he didn't have the spine for that type of stand, especially back then.
So, IMO, he "used" Afghan as the "right war" to bloster himself so he wouldn't look weak. We were "your either with us or against us" mode at that time. So he needed to act as if & send more troops.
WHAT is our goal?
Bring them home!
I heard there are 130,000 civilians working there, so even with the draw down there are plenty still in the quagmire.
(But, what jobs will they have when they return?)
The strange thing, now, many of the Republicans want to get out, half of the candidates for the Oval.
Are you surprised?
In all honesty I thought he was premature to run.
And in some ways I am pleasantly surprised.
I felt his mistake(s), not investigating GWB & Cheney, hiring Geithner & co. clo
DO SOMETHING!
