...alzheimers is one of many forms of dementia. People use the term Alzheimer because there is a stigma to saying someone is "demented". Purely a semantics thing.

Alzheimers? Interesting. I've been reading that he suffered dementia that appeared to have been brought on as a consequence of dental surgery three years ago.
