...most of the folks who buy those tags are part of the Sons of Confererate Veterans. There is also a group Sons of Union Veterans. Actually quite dimilar to the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) They are harmless nerds with nothing to do but re-enact civil war battles on the week ends. The tag is available in Georgia and I wouldn't have one because sometimes I park my car somewhere besides my own yard and I don't want to come back and find all the windows busted out.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
