Arrest Warrant Issued for Gaddafi
The International Criminal Court on Monday issued an arrest warrant for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on charges of crimes against humanity. The warrants also cover his son and intelligence chief, and preclude the embattled leader from traveling to any of the 116 countries that are covered under the court's jurisdiction, including neighboring Tunisia and allies such as Uganda and Venezuela. Meanwhile, rebels are battling loyalist troops in the town of Bir Al-Ghanam, just 50 miles southwest of Tripoli—part of a push, says their spokesman, to the capital.
