His five day take, coming into the last 5 hours, is now $4,320,000 raised on line, mostly in donations smaller than mine in number but probably larger than mine in how deep people had to dig into their discretionary income to donate anything. That is, unlike Romney and Obama, Ron Paul isn't getting much support from big name Fascists or Party Insiders.
It's my first donation of this campaign. I wasn't going to donate at all for this race. I donated thousands, handed out free decals, and even walked a grocery parking lot for the 2008 campaign. And I donated almost a thousand to Rand Paul's campaign ... and several thousand to the Mises institute of economic education last year.
I dunno. I'm tired because it feels like pearls before swine to me -- the majority of American people DESERVE chains, want chains ... or, at least, are too apathetic and dumb to say otherwise.
Still, it is end of quarter and maybe the Paul's are right when they say that $1 donated now is better than $5 later. Maybe, just maybe, the Paul's speaking up can, at least, DELAY the advance of the US police state a few years and, at least, establish in the history books that there WAS warning....there WAS a "Paul Revere", of sorts, trying to wake people up and let them know what was coming.
I have come to realize that men are not born to be free. Liberty is a need felt by a small class of people whom nature has endowed with nobler minds than the mass of men. -Napoleon
