The Strauss-Kahn story broke on 5/14/2011. I know, because I'm the one who first posted of it here on Atomic Bobs.
By 5/16/2011, clo had already passed judgement, writing "The judge held this scumbag without bail!" Wow! Only two days after his arrest, and what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty??
Two weeks later, on 6/1/2011, I was still unconvinced and thought the whole thing was very suspicious: "The whole Strauss-Kahn thing strikes me as a bit weird.?"
It DID seem to me from the start that if someone powerful wanted Strauss-Kahn out of office, setting him up like this would be remarkably easy and effective. And it really did seem odd that such a smart, incredibly successful person would have so little control over himself as to SODOMIZE a hotel maid he didn't even know.
Now that the case is unravelling and it appears more and more that it might be the maid who is the "scumbag," (a possibility that never occurred to you, eh clo?) I think Russia's early report that this was all a setup designed to stop Strauss-Kahn from announcing that America's gold is gone, deserves further consideration. After all, it HAS been a tremendously long time since anyone has done an audit of Fort Knox's contents. And at a time when our governments are raiding pension and Social Security funds, isn't it at least POSSIBLE that the Federal Reserve might have also raided America's gold "fund"?
Go, Ron Paul! Go, Ron Paul! We NEED to audit the Fed. We NEED to know whether America's gold stockpile is still there.
BTW, *if* someone powerful set this up to neutralize a Strauss-Kahn who was on the verge of going rogue, that individual isn't likely to be too happy about today's events. Further, I surmise that there are two people who, if they're wise, are very fearful for their lives right now. Dominique Strauss-Kahn is one of them. The other, of course, is the maid.
Now let's keep an eye on the news regarding these two . . . and remember that I wrote this on July 1st, not quite as a "prediction" but as something that I wouldn't find particularly surprising in a world where very powerful, very bad people are, to an ever greater extent, pulling strings.
Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
