I was watchinng prior to the fed's announcement, then as they were digesting, it went up, for a minute, then started to decline & it went back & forth for a bit, then in the red for a while.
Then it started the move higher, it was a wild ride!
Happy for those in the green today, lord knows it wasn't easy. clo
I had the radio on during lunch and just before I turned it off they did a market closing report at 1:05 PDT (4:05 EDT) and reported that the DOW was up 137 points. A few minutes later I checked the Yahoo! financial site and it showed a nearly 430 point gain. I can't recall ever seeing that big a spread between what the ticker was at the 'close' versus what the actual number was after all the trades were actually recorded.
