Hmmm, 2 recall wins - 1 in very heavy Democrat district that won by 10% and 1 against very damaged Republican state senator {getting divorced + relationship with 25 year old aide + wife campaigning against him} that won by only 2%. 4 Republican state senators won by very substantial margins. 2 recall elections for Democrat state senators next week. Getting at best 1 more seat than what everyone knew was going to be a gain for Democrats {Shilling over Kapanke in the very heavy Democrat District 32} and not able to undo any legislation passed by Republicans is very poor showing by Democrats and unions that spent 35 million dollars in a very blue state.

"You say 5 of the 6 districts are heavily Republican? All 6 districts voted significantly for Obama over McCain in 2008."

Just because they're republican doesn't necessarily mean they are dumb. ;))
I mentioned this in my post.

In these districts, Obama won, but so did Walker.
5 of the 6 are heavily republican.
