...the only thing that will get gasoline below two bucks a gallon is if somebody comes up with something that will be price competitive with it and if the oil companies don't own it too. My point was that America is going to need oil in ten years and since we have used so damn much of it, we owe it to the folks coming along later to make provisions for em. Contrary to popular opinion, it is not "All about the boomers".

I was only trying to point out that if Ms. Bachmann thinks opening-up ANWR will help get gasoline below $2 in the near term, she needs to think again (but then that implies that she actually thought about this the first time ;-)
