How would this make him a 'principled president'? Perhaps if he would allow the schools in Texas to teach proper sex education, which included information about birth control, then there might not be as compelling a need to have to make an 'anti-abortion' pledge. For people who claim to be 'pro-life' they sure create conditions where people end up living their LIVES like they were 3rd class citizens. "Oh we have to protect the unborn at all costs", but that does not include prenatal medical care for the mother or help after the baby is born, no that would be condoning socialism.

I don't understand you people, you act as if hypocrisy was a virtue!!!!
