So does editing a post. The 'feature' is ill-conceived and poorly implemented. As it is, it's useless for its intended purpose and is nothing but clutter.

If we must have a view counter, at least limit the function to one increment per user-id regardless of the number of visits. This would make it a proper 'viewer-counter', which is the desired function. That is, what we really want to know is how many individuals read a post, not how many times it has been read.

I just noticed that if you Recc a Post, it adds to the Views shown!! Oops... Likely because it redraws the page... No big deal, but it will throw the numbers off...
