The present implementation inserts a new line at the beginning of the color attribute, forcing text to a new paragraph. This sux.
We should be able to color any number of characters in line without the imposition of a line break; ie: the color attribute should work just like bold, italic or underline. The only limitation should be that one should not be able to nest a color attribute within another color attribute.
