I guess you haven't been watching the debates.

Obama is the #1 target.
Every one of them slam him on every issue.

Keep in mind, with unemployment this high & 3 out of 4 people not happy with the direction we are going, if the republicans aren't leading now, when?

The economy is getting better, slowly, recent news supports that. If its near 8% Obama by Autumn he can really make a good case for re-election.

This poll's conclusion isn't very rational. While Republicans are attacking each other right now in hopes of landing the nomination. But no one is attacking Obummer.

He's getting a free ride - yet even so, the poll below says his reelection prospects are 50/50. That's if the election were held TODAY.

But things will change in a dramatic way next year - when he becomes the target of a single Republican nominee and has to defend his record as the worst U.S. President in modern times.

I put Obummer's reelection chances at about 20 percent.

[b]AP-GfK Poll: Obama re-election odds roughly 50-50

By JENNIFER AGIESTA and KEN THOMAS | AP

WASHINGTON (AP) — Entering 2012, President Barack Obama's re-election prospects are essentially a 50-50 proposition, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll. It found that most Americans say the president deserves to be voted out of office even though they have concerns about the Republican alternatives.
