I starred ribit's post. But after reading it a second and then a third time, I decided I didn't care for it so much after all. But I can't remove the star...

Better than the alternative, ribit? Noooo. I understand where you're coming from, but what you've said is irrelevant if we're talking about the same thing, and it kind of hints of empathy (that means "a sympathetic, visceral understanding", zz. Oh... "visceral" means something you feel in your gut.) for OCU's *pathetic* suggestion that there was something wrong with what Rick Santorum had said.

Income Inequality is GOOD. It is JUST. It is NECESSARY. It is the key to CAPITALISM - which is, more than anything else except the Constitution, what made America great. That's the answer I'd like to have seen.

It is entirely appropriate for a person who is a better or more skilled worker, saver, or investor to earn more than another. No two people are equal, and their incomes SHOULD rightfully reflect that simple fact.
