I don't know if I'd have agreed with Time, but I at least understand that its "Person of the Year" is supposed to reflect impact, not popularity. Time has previously chosen Stalin and Hitler (twice, I think) . . . and I think it was right on both occasions.
That said, my person of the year would have been Steve Jobs or Ron Paul.
