I'll do what I can. It's hard, though. There's so much incorrect information that has warped these guys' perspectives.
I can see that we've made a dent, though. clo says that zz$#!+ is improving, and there are many discussions that ended after one of us posted some important evidence or challenging questions. Folks here are obviously realizing that we're right. Eventually, they'll start admitting it - at least to themselves if not publicly to the board.
But, working with some people is difficult. My son gave an inspiring example of how and WHY to do this, just this week, though. His music class went to a nursing home this week with the school's special ed (mostly autistic) kids to sing Christmas Carols. (Got that?? CHRISTMAS. Not HOLIDAY Carols.) He played piano and said that the music had a huge impact both on the residents and on the autistic kids who quieted down and seemed to get a lot out of the whole experience, even if many of them didn't know that they had and couldn't express it.
It made me feel good to hear about that, and it renewed my interest in helping the folks here on FFFT.
