It been revealed that Grover Norquist, who got most all of the Republicans in Congress to sign a LIFETIME, IRONCLAD, "You will never vote to increases taxes (unless it's for middle class Americans)" pledge, is one of the main Washington lobbyist for the Canadian company who wants to build the Keystone XL pipeline.

BTW, when you look at a map knowing that the primary reason for running the pipeline down to the Gulf Coast was so that they could load tankers bound for foreign customers (none of this oil will be available for sale in the US or Canada), you can't help but notice that Vancouver is a heck of a lot closer to the Tar Sands fields than is New Orleans or Galveston. Well it seems that the people in British Columbia has voted to not allow the pipeline to cross their province since they consider it environmentally unsafe. Of course, Grover Norquist is lobbying the GOP to not allow any of the states through which the pipeline will pass to have any say in it being built.
