Were you aware that during the Republican Caucuses in Iowa today that they are NOT going to be asking for a photo-ID before people will permitted to express there choice for a Republican nominee for President? However, when November comes, you will need a photo-ID to vote in Iowa. When asked why they are not using the same rules in the caucuses as for an election, it was reported that one official stated that they didn't want to create a situation where people might not be allowed to vote because they forgot their ID's or didn't have one in the first place. When asked how was this any different than the general election, they were told that during a caucus since everybody knows everybody already there's no need for ID's because we can vouch for each other, but during a general election who knows who might be trying to vote.
