I don't know enough about Santorum to really form an opinion of him as a candidate.

I did know about him wearing his religion on his sleeve, and while that bugs me (because my personal belief system differs from his), it's not necessarily a disqualifier. More research is in order before I can render a sound opinion.

At least the race is going to be entertaining.

Hi Riana,

What do you think of Santorum?

I think he's genuine, speaks from the heart, since he was in the Senate he knows how that body works.
IMO, he wears HIS religion to the extreme. I don't want the POTUS preaching AND making HIS religious views the law of the land. He makes Kennedy look like an agnostic, that part of him scares the hell out of me.
But next to robotic Romney, Santorum is a man of the people, for the people.

On a side note, I watched Ron Paul's speech last night. The person that stuck out like a SORE THUMB, Rand Paul. Behind his dad looking like a sour puss...
What was that about?
