Recall update
The recall signatures were submitted today. Over 543,000 had to sign a petition to force a recall. CA need 12.5% in their recall of Davis. They thought it would be a struggle to get over the threshhold here. Today, over 1,000,000 signatures were turned in. 3,000 pounds of petitions.
In some counties up north where Walker had great support, more people signed than voted for Walker in the first place. And every week brings more Walker headlines that make one cringe. Not just about the unions but about the environment, corporate buddy giveaways etc.
The Walker group will try every legal maneuver they can to delay or stop a recall election but they would have to successfully challenge almost half the signature to do that.
