Morning Clo:

Neither my wife nor I have watched any of the Republican debates. All the candidates are handicapped because they are either 1. hopelessly regressive or 2. forced to appeal to a regressed audience. Romney is especially handicapped since he was governor of Massachusetts (the devil's playground), supported some liberal/moderate positions while governor (that he must now flip-flop on), and most Fundies would like to see God hurl him into a lake of fire for eternity because of his Mormanism. In other words, he's trying to function and succeed in a nut house.

I believe Romney might personally be OK. It's the Republican baggage he will drag along with him that bothers me. We certainly don't need any more neocon judges or right-wing deregulations.

My problem is I have zero regard for Obama (He might be getting a little better), and feel he has betrayed us. I hate to reward him with my vote for betraying us.

My wife will vote for whomever she wants. I will not directly try to influence her. She has better judgement than me.

Good morning KTC,

When Mitt debated in the earlier debates I thought he was solid & had found his 'voice'. As the campaign moved on he choose to move more & more to the 'right'.

While I didn't intend to vote for him, I thought he might be okay if he won.
I do NOT think that way now.

Watching him make sooo many unforced errors, I have little confidence in his 'leadership' abilities.
How could he think on his feet, when he is unable to answer questions he KNEW would be asked...(taxes)

The longer this goes on the more he loses the 'strength & stability' he has advertised as the reason he should be POTUS.

In the long run he will probably win the nomination, but he is badly wounded.

How do you see him, now? How does your wife see him?
Any change?
