This is just a silly bill.

There just aren't a lot of businesses where a couple is the customer, and not only one of them. Tax preparation, I suppose.

How is a restaurant owner / mechanic / sales clerk going to know if two people are married? Especially if only one of them is conducting business? Are they going to ask?

Now if you have a couple of people come into a restaurant and start making out, that in itself is enough to refuse service - no matter if they are same or different gender/race/religion. Has nothing to do with those things.

I certainly hope this bill will get laughed out of the building.

And I take "10 seconds" in your pool. Smile

...as if that made it somehow OK, eh? Which means what, that business owners could deny service to multi-racial couples as well? Or to non-Christian couples? Or perhaps just because the shop owners didn't like their accent or the way they dressed?

Anyone want to start a pool as to how many seconds it would take a Federal judge to rule this as being a violation of someone's civil rights?
