Absolutely, but not in terms of debt alread accrued. Without a doubt, the sum [2008 U.S. debt + newly accrued obligations] has more than doubled in Obama's three years.
Bummercare alone is now known to be a $2 trillion boondoggle - and that's just in its first ten years! Beyond that, there's no telling. It really comes down to how long until it and the rest of the fiscal mismanagement collapses the nation, I suppose.
You may not be able to confirm this with OMB and BLS numbers. OMB and BLS are under the thumb of the White House. And they lie.
