Civil disobedience is a frequent characteristic of successful protests. Sometimes it's the only thing that grabs the public's attention. Rioting, property destruction, mass arrests, and police brutality can also be effective or kill a movement. The semi-comatose establishment, and the Wall Street Scumbags who are sucking the lifeblood out of America, must become alarmed.

...no, they can protest in the parks cause the parks belong to them too. What they cannot, or should not do is monopolize the parks or do damage to them. If I went to a park with my family and camped out in a no camping area, I would be arrested. Why are they "special". The answer is that they are not special, they are just getting special treatment.
I am a firm believer in equal treatment under the law. If you are sleeping under a bridge you should be arrested whether you are rich or poor.
