It's waaaay too soon to be making a statement like that, clo. You're sounding more and more like a certain bigoted President who once chastised a white policeman for the way he'd treated a black man, when he actually didn't have the slightest idea what he was talking about.
Here's what we DO know. The press orchestrated this thing into a racial incident from the very start, before they knew much of ANYTHING about it.

Got that? A WHITE neighborhood watch captain??? These racist bastards IN OUR PRESS ought to be strung up by their thumbs for a few hours for doing their best to turn an all-too-common tragedy into a race war.
Since the press screwed this story up from the get-go, I wouldn't put too much credibility into their criticisms of the police.

Under the circumstances, I think we'd best wait for this thing to get ironed out before we draw any further conclusions about who bungled the case. We *ONLY* know for sure that the Press did.
