He's talented, but not as bright as you might think.
It's just that he works very, VERY hard. He just finished his weekend homework a little while ago after working on it all day. As a result of putting in those kind of hours, he gets great grades and screws up the curve.
The reason I bring this up is that some kids in school who resent himn for it. They aren't doing as well and are asking him to give them some of his points. The school allows for that. They claim that he doesn't such good grades, and that he actually has more points than he needs or coud even use.
So far, he has resisted the pressure they're applying, but now they're ganging up in order to force him to give up some of his extra credit points. I guess if enough of them unite, they can just take the points through force.
It's a very liberal school, you see, and my son is outnumbered.
