...a buddy of mine was sittin at a traffic light waiting on it to change when a little old lady smacked into the back of his harley and knocked it out into the middle of the intersection where it was promptly destroyed. He went straight up, more or less, and came down on her hood. He was bumped and bruised, but no permanent damage.
