He may well be a scumbag. But I don't think you knew that at the time you said it. You only knew that he'd been accused of rape and worse.

So, if you're right, you got lucky. Even a stopped clock is right twice per day.

If I'm mistaken about this, please correct me and explain how you knew he was a scumbag. You didn't take the opportunity to do so when I raised this subject last July.
