...that particular accident happened over in England or Scotland or one of them other countries where everybody drives on the wrong side of the road.

...meanwhile, we have a lot of people driving around in America who shouldn't be driving at all.

...safety in automobiles! We have put in soft dashboards, airbags, seatbelts and we still have accidents. I got an idea. Let's strap the driver to the front bumper and see if that don't reduce em a bit.

I once heard of two motorists driving through an intersection with their heads out their windows. It was foggy, and I guess it helped them see. Until they conked heads in the intersection's middle.

I don't know if the story is true, and if it is, whether they survived. It does paint a funny picture, though.
