Would you rather that charges were filed too quickly and the case was thrown out by a judge . . . or jury?
The facts you posted closely mirror the story with my sister. There was no arrest in my sister's case. Jumping to arrest the killer would have been insanely S-T-U-P-I-D because an accused has a right to a speedy trial once he's been charged.
Got that?
(In my sister's case, the killer died about a year later of a drug overdose - as the case against him was still being built.)
Our judicial system is already far too quick to acquit. If the police rush to arrest, they probably decrease the convictions they can get by tenfold. And a lot of innocent people have their lives ruined by the trial process. Are either of THOSE scenarios what you'd like for our country?
Now, Zimmerman's case isn't going to be thrown out. And he's not going to be acquitted. I'm sure a nice kangaroo court is being set up to ensure that there will be a conviction. Florida... and Obummer... are NOT interested in race riots during an election year.
So I expect Zimmerman will be railroaded by the courts. That should make you happy. Sieg Heil!
