The Left thought it knew. It thought it knew almost as soon as the story broke. And as millions of holes appeared in various versions of the story and things had to be shifted, they CONTINUED to think they knew.
Well, they knew the important part - that Zimmerman was guilty. Everything else about the altercation was secondary to that one inarguable fact. Guilty, guilty, guilty. It doesn't matter what transpired. He's guilty, because he committed the capital crime of following a kid he considered suspicious even after the police told him he didn't "NEED" to.
I haven't mentioned it before, but there's a good chance I'd have done the same thing if I lived in a neighborhood where a lot of burglaries had taken place and I was tired of the perpetrators always getting away before the police arrived. Geez, but I must be evil...
