Here's a quote from that article:

These are very minor and non-destructive. They are not the same as one continental shelf sliding underneath another one which produces powerful earthquakes and mass destruction.

Ya know, I am not a geological scientist but I would have to think that IF one takes or removes a substance from the ground, and replaces it with a less dense substance like water, the ground will eventually "re-settle" which is what a minor quake would feel like.

But I can see it now already. Those extremists who would like nothing better than to totally make America dependent on foreign energy, the very people who would like to kill every single one of us, will be hotting and hollering about stopping the energy companies from extracting gas and oil from American vast deposits. Thus driving up the prices to where all your paycheck will cover is the utility bill.

This making every American a welfare dependent upn the government and fulfilling Obama's desire for every American.
