shuffles.... when you delete cookies, you lose your online session with the websites they are associated to. However, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome store the passwords and should auto-fill them into your login when you go back to that website. The passwords the browsers store do not get deleted.

It can be a pain in the neck to have to go through all that, but you'd be surprised at how many gigabytes of surfing information gets put into your temporary internet file folders, and regular cleaning will often help performance.

Vgolf, as I indicated before, Verizon Fios. I don't know what speed I signed up for, but when I test it I get anywhere from 7,000 Kbps to 15,000. Sunday evening, when it seemed so slow it tested 12,000 to 15,000. Things seem to be back to normal now.

When I clean the cache, will I loose stored web site passwords?
