How about an AIR car. like the ones being made in NICE France? They run on compressed air.

Pretty cheap source of fuel. Air.

How bout a flywheel. BCON has a good one.

The battery on a City Car will rarely run out because it will use little power, at modest speeds, will only drive short distances, and will usually be parked at a charging station.
