You know, that would be a great idea! Build a drum for them to walk in and have prisoners generating electricity. Different group in the drum walking every two hours. Each one could have four turns. Most prisons could handle 50 or more generators. Sell the electricity to the power companies for 25% of what they get for it. The money could go towards operating the prison. But then, that would screw up the welfare part of the system. Poor criminals should not have to work for a living. Never mind.
