my main point was that as I have multiple air compressors and know what kind of electric they utilize in order to reach certain PSI's it is like driving 100 miles for less than a dollar.

That is what I was I looking at. I have a small compressor at home that doesn't much electric to provide air for any of my pneumatic tools or blow up car tires either. e go to a station and pay 50 cents for some portable compressor to provide air to fill tires with so I could easily a fill up compressor. The best solution in my view is simply to provide an onboard means to refill the air supply in the tank(s).

Solar energy seemed like a cheap solution if it is possible. I don't really know as I have not studied it out yet.

No big deal. Its fun just to see something different like a car that runs on AIR.

Things that require little energy, store and supply little energy. There's no free lunch. Running an air compressor off a solar cell... you're getting close to Al Clo-re territory there.
