Well, hope you had fun.
Here, we had a slight drought, the pond was down a foot, but it filled up quickly last weekend. We've had some sun, but it's been mostly cloudy for a week and will be cloudy/rainy for most of the coming week, if they're right. That means, of course, that we don't get to see the super moon this weekend.
We had slightly more rain this winter than last but not much in the last two months. Those $3 watermelons are selling for $6 here and the dollar cantelopes are selling for $1.50 to $2. They are probably coming from Mexico. Most of West Texas is still dry, especially Roscoe. Yesterday the rain and hail were to the east of us. The day before it was to the north. But we are having a city wide event for Cinco de Mayo today so we will probably get rain today.
