IMO this tells me folks are doing better.
In recent years many budgets had to go up for a second vote, after trimming & still some didn't pass.
Keep in mind, the weather was terrible yesterday, lots & lots of rain.
School Budgets Approved Across Putnam
First time in several years that all get voter OK

Residents throughout Putnam County gave their school systems votes of confidence Tuesday by approving each of the district's fiscal spending plans for the 2012-2013 school year by comfortable margins.
The seven successful votes marked the first time in five years that all budgets swept to victory on both sides of the county.
In Brewster residents said "yes" by a vote of 1073 to 771.
Carmel voters approved a spending plan by a tally of 1,575 to 829 while in Mahopac a huge turnout resulted in the budget being approved by a tally of 2,172 to 1,352.
North Salem voters approved their budget for 2012-2013 by a count of 524-313.
On the western side of the county, residents in Garrison, Haldane and Putnam Valley all approved budgets by comfortable margins.
In Garrison the tally was 196-104. Haldane voters approved a budget 578-227, while in Putnam Valley, the budget was approved by a 70 percent margin—857 to 373.
