Change the names, if Trayvon behaved like George, I would say Trayvon was the aggressor & should face a jury.

Of course most of us know, IF it was the other way around, Trayvon would HAVE been arrested that night.

re: "I abhor violence."

If you abhor violence, why do you defend the only person who landed a punch in the Zimmerman assault? I'm sure even you will agree that the "stalking" you've accused Zimmerman of did not constitute "violence."

The fist fight, though, probably did.

Who do you think threw the punches, clo?

BTW, I abhor violence too. But I also believe in harsh punishments for criminals. And I do not consider defending oneself from an assailant to be a crime. Do you?

Finally, I believe the use of deadly force to be appropriate when one's own death is a reasonable outcome otherwise. Florida law says the same thing.

Not only does it look as if Trayvon had been bashing Zimmerman's head against concrete, we also have Zimmerman's assertion that Trayvon appeared to be reaching for Zimmerman's gun. Plenty of reason there for Zimmmerman to think his life was in jeopardy.

This thing is open and shut.

-----

I'm curious: How would you feel if Trayvon HAD killed Zimmerman by bashing his head into the concrete? No crime there - because Zimmerman was guilty of getting out of his car?

Or does the magnitude of the head trauma determine whether Zimmerman had a right to be concerned, and therefore determine whether defending himself from it was warranted?

I've given you several questions. I hope you'll answer them.
