And study after study also shows that the Catholic church is not doing well at all these days.

I predict religion in the western world has perhaps 100 years left. When great numbers of followers profess to be picking and choosing among their religion's teachings, or do not know those teachings at all, something is seriously amiss.

Eighty-two percent of U.S. Catholics -- and 89% of all Americans -- say birth control is morally acceptable, making it the most acceptable of 18 behaviors Gallup asked about in its May Values and Beliefs survey.
