I recently predicted that Cory could beat Chris in the next Gov race in NJ which is why I thought Christie was entertaining the idea of a VP run.
There might not be a next time regarding Cory's attempt to voice his true feelings, as I do not believe that axelrod & co will ever trust him again.

This is the original "stand you ground" issue.
You're a man. So, tell me, no matter what the cost, would you have backed down? That is how Cory felt, that is what he said, and then he was pressured into a retraction.
IF you would have done that, then give Cory the benefit of the doubt.
He just learned the hard way, imo. No second chances from me.

Cory said he was NOT giving interviews on the subject. Yet, he appeared on Rachel Madcow's show, and refused an invitation to bill o'reilly's show.
