There's that entitlement mentality at work again.

You have no RIGHT to a job, weco. If your employer is better off without you, he or she would be a fool to keep you on board.

Both the employer and the employee should feel that they are getting more than their money's worth from the arrangement. If either feels otherwise, they should end the relationship and move on.

So, Meg Whitman is doing just that. Her action is no more "wrong" than yours would be if you found a better job at another company and decided to quit.
