What a botched job of reporting there was around this case. At least the truth has emerged and many people have come to their senses, albeit S-L-O-W-L-Y.
Forty percent (40%) now believe George Zimmerman acted in self-defense when he shot and killed Trayvon Martin. Twenty-four percent (24%) believe he should be convicted of murder. These figures reflect a significant turnaround since the story first broke.
Just 15% believed it was self defense in March!
Competent people were non-committal until recently, knowing that the evidence was far too flimsy and CONTRIVED to support a belief one way or the other about what actually happened. Photographs of Zimmerman's head, autopsy reports about Martin's condition, and the consistency of Zimmerman's story (while evidence to support the liberals' premature contentions has been absent) have greatly bolstered the self-defense argument.
