I could have sworn that our stock market and capitalist system were designed to allow regular people to own a piece of those companies.
...nobody cares what the peasants own as long as they don't own enough of it to have any effect on who gets elected to the board of directors, CEO, CFO ect... They also don't mind if we buy and sell it to each other as long as they can charge us a fee.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
