...another thing that makes it possible is that the police protect the gangs. A hundred years ago the good citizens of the area would get together and run them out of town. Now that ain't allowed.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
That and it takes a police state for the government to stop gangs. The people could put a stop to it but they are almost all either related to the gang members or are afraid of them. If you raise your kids right, they seldom join gangs. But that requires responsible parents, not welfare serfs. This is what you get when you let the community raise a child.
